Netflix premiered the first season of “Yasuke,” a unique animation about the adventures of the title character, a historical figure who was the first African warrior, on April 29, 2021. According to historical records, Yasuke landed in Japan on July 25, 1579, from Africa, most likely Mozambique. He served Japanese Daimy Lord Oda Nobunaga until one of his generals betrayed and killed him in 1582. Yasuke apparently fled into exile after that tragic occurrence, but the rest of his story is unclear.

Who will be in the Yasuke Season 2 cast?
The original dialogue of “Yasuke” is in English, with dubbing in German, Spanish, French, and, of course, Japanese. Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield voices the title character, alongside Takehiro Hira as Oda Nobunaga, Maya Tanida as Saki, Ming-Na Wen as Natsumaru, Don Donahue as the wicked Abraham, and Paul Nakauchi as the doctor Morisuke.
Depending on the scenario, the second season is likely to contain a number of familiar characters. Of course, Stanfield would reprise his role as Yasuke, and Tanida’s Saki is almost certain to reappear at some point. Nobunaga, Natsumaru, and the Daimyo, a witch and one of the show’s primary antagonists, voiced by Amy Hill, are among the characters who die in “Yasuke” Season 1. In an anime, anything can happen, but these characters are unlikely to reappear in Season 2.

What will be the plot of Yasuke Season 2?
“Yasuke’s” the first season establishes a number of storylines that will be developed in future episodes. Saki is successfully protected and saved by Yasuke from the Daimyo who is for her powers. Although it looks like everything is under control, Saki is told by the Daimyo that her powers will continue to expand and that she will soon be unable to control them, leaving her with no choice but to seek out more power and cause havoc. Saki is safe in her village, but this foreboding warning could foreshadow a future meeting between the two characters when Saki’s influence has grown out of hand and Yasuke must intervene.
The post-credits scene in the conclusion contains another plot that could be developed further. Yasuke wields the blade of Natsumaru, an old friend whom he was forced to kill on the battlefield. He tracks down Natsumaru’s brother and convinces him to give him his sister’s sword, but he remains silent about his role in her death. It’s possible that the brother will play a bigger role in the future, discovering the truth and going after Yasuke, or that the scene will simply provide some much-needed closure for Yasuke and Natsumaru.

The drama picks up Yasuke’s journey after the real historical character fled into exile and little is known about his fate. Because of this, the writers may take the character almost anywhere, and with the wide world established in the previous season, the options for “Yasuke” Season 2 are unlimited.
What Happened in the First Season of Yasuke?
We can see Oda Nobunaga and Yasuke meeting for the first time at the start of the show. Yasuke was requested to wash his body after an altercation in the street, as though they felt he was coated in dirt. But they couldn’t believe the dark tint was his natural skin tone.
Season 2 of Yasuke’s storyline first season of Yasuke ends with the main character confronting the Daimyo’s army, which is led by Mitsuhide alias The Dark General, a long-time opponent.
Saki receives astral plane advice from a doctor named Morisuke (Paul Nakauchi), and Abraham’s old bounty hunters volunteer to assist Yasuke. Ishikawa (Dia Frampton) and Nikita (Julie Marcus) are both dead, but Saki achieves absolute peace with her powers, killing The Daimyo.

Season 2 of Yasuke has a release date.
The animated series’ second season has yet to be announced by Netflix, which is unsurprising given that the complete first season was published on April 29.
However, there are some encouraging signals, such as the fact that the series was watched by a big number of Netflix users around the world and that critics seemed to appreciate it.
During an interview with Comicbook.com, the series’ creator, LeSean Thomas, hinted at something significant. There has been talking of ordering a second season, but nothing has been confirmed. Even if it is given the green light, fans should not expect anything new until late 2022.
