Wei continues to see Yuan in flashbacks. The cultivator clans come with the intention of assassinating the Yiling Patriarch. When Wei and Zhang come to liberate them from spiritual bindings, Jin Ling and others engage into a struggle.
Spirit Lure Formations have been surreptitiously built up at Qiongqi Road and Nevernight City, according to Lan Wangji. Other villagers, including Senior Lan, come as well.
