One of DC Comics’ most intriguing characters is John Constantine. His storey has been featured in both live-action and animated films and television shows because of this. Another such adaptation was ‘Constantine: City of Demons.’
The series is written by J. M. DeMatteis, who has worked on DC and Marvel comic books. It follows an occult detective as he attempts to solve the mystery of demons kidnapping people’s souls. It’s a prequel to the animated series ‘Justice League Dark,’ which has nothing to do with live-action.

Constantine Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Constantine was never made because the show was cancelled by NBC due to low ratings. The first eight episodes of the 2014 autumn season aired on Friday evenings at 10 p.m.
Constantine’s core young audience would be unable to watch the show live; the show performed well when viewers watched it later via DVR or streaming, but NBC decided that the show was too expensive to justify its low ratings.
When the show returned from its winter hiatus, the network refused to buy the remaining nine episodes of season 1, and a move to Fridays at 8 p.m. primetime did not help ratings. On May 8, 2015, Constantine was cancelled, but it was only the beginning for the chain-smoking warlock.

Constantine Season 2 Plot
The storey starts with Constantine succumbing to the monster Nergal and losing the soul of a young girl named Astra. He masters the art of exorcism by learning from his mistakes. Chas Chandler tracks him down years later and begs for his assistance.
Tricia, Chandler’s daughter, is in a coma, and when Constantine examines the scene, he gets the distinct impression that it has something to do with demons.
According to further investigation, Tricia’s spirit is being held captive by a demon named Beroul, and the woman in the hospital bed is just a body. This is something the devil has done to a number of other people.
Beroul has asked Constantine for a favour in exchange for their spirits being returned. He wants him to exorcise a few more demons, including some of his rivals in business. Constantine agrees with you. Can a demon ever be trusted, on the other hand?
Beroul, it turns out, is hiding something, and his decision to work with Constantine has far-reaching consequences that go beyond his company’s bottom line. Constantine must figure it out before the monster snatches his soul.
