The official trailer for “Bridgerton’s” second season is now available.
Netflix’s official social media platforms posted a small teaser of the second season promo for its successful programme on Monday.
Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) begins the video by reciting another of her renowned newsletters. “Did you miss me, dear reader?” she asks.
The teaser then cuts to several sequences from the forthcoming season, featuring Eloise Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, Baroness Portia Featherington, Lady Danbury, and other returning characters reading the newsletter. It also includes scenes from a ball, a royal ascot, and more Bridgerton family conflict.
Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), the alleged mastermind of Lady Whistledown, was shown penning one of her newsletters at the end of the film. “I’ve been honing my blades for all of you,” Andrews says in the teaser.
The oldest of the Bridgerton children, Lord Anthony, and his quest to find love will be explored in the second season of the hit Netflix series produced by Shonda Rhimes. Daphne Bridgerton, his younger sister, and her love interest Simon Basset were the centre of the first season.
In February 2021, it was announced that newbie Simone Ashley will portray Kate Sharma, the female protagonist and Anthony’s love interest in season two.

The programme, which started in December 2020, became an instant hit because of the on-screen chemistry between Daphne and Simon and the show’s never-ending collection of spectacular outfits. “Bridgerton” has been compared to a cross between the original “Gossip Girl” and the classic “Pride & Prejudice,” according to fans.
Jonathan Bailey, Phoebe Dynevor, Claudia Jesse, Adjoa Andoh, and Golda Rosheuvel portray Anthony Bridgerton, Daphne Bridgerton, Eloise Bridgerton, Lady Danbury, and Queen Charlotte, respectively, with Andrews and Coughlan.

A month after its launch, Netflix renewed the sitcom for a second season. “Bridgerton” shattered Netflix records in less than a month, becoming the streaming service’s fifth-largest premiere ever, with 82 million household views.
