American-Canadian actress Pamela Denise Anderson was born on July 1, 1967. Most people recognize her from her days as a glamour model for Playboy and her guest starring role on Baywatch (1992–1997).
Anderson gained notoriety after being chosen as Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Month for February 1990. She went on to become the person who appeared on the cover of Playboy the most often of anyone in the magazine’s history.

When Did Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee Meet?
At a popular Hollywood club known as Sanctuary on the evening of December 31, 1994, the Playboy model and the musician were brought together for the first time.
Pamela and Tommy embarked on their first date six weeks after they had first met, which was a vacation to Cancun in Mexico.

When Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee Tie the Note?
The newlyweds married after four days in Mexico.
We gave blood, found a marriage license, and got married on the beach before the day was done. “We got tattoos of each other’s names around our fingers instead of wedding bands,” Tommy wrote in The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band.
After only four days together, Pamela didn’t know Tommy’s last name or where he resided when they were married.
“On the way home, I asked him what our last name was, and he responded, ‘Lee,’” the V.I.P. actress recounted in her memoir Love, Pamela, released on January 31, 2023. “I answered, ‘Oh, I assumed it was Tommy Lee…something. Jones?’” Tommy answered, “Malibu Road.”
Carol Anderson, the blonde bombshell’s mother, was furious over her daughter’s hasty marriage to a stranger. She raged. Tommy? Pam explained. “She couldn’t believe I got married, wept that she had always dreamed of being at her only daughter’s wedding.”
Pamela and Tommy honeymooned at Lake Mead in 1995. Their infamous sex tape was filmed there.
“We took a five-day houseboat cruise on Lake Mead as a vacation,” Tommy told Esquire. I brought my video camera as usual. Just documenting our vacation. We viewed it once when we went home, then put it in our safe, a 500-pound behemoth buried beneath a carpet in my studio control room in the garage.”
The 54-minute tape had eight minutes of the couple being intimate. Rand Gauthier, an electrician renovating the couple’s Malibu home, grabbed it. The VHS tape was copied and disseminated, and Penthouse magazine graphically reported its content.

Penthouse illustrated its news without publishing video stills. Pamela and Tommy sued Penthouse, but a Los Angeles federal district court judge ruled that the illustrations were part of a “newsworthy” article.
In her January 31, 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela, Pamela will discuss the tape. In an excerpt from the book released by People, the Baywatch actress writes that the tape, which she refuses to watch, “ruined lives,” starting with her relationship with Tommy.
“It’s unforgivable that individuals, still to this day, think they can profit off such a dreadful experience, much alone a crime,” Pamela says in her memoir.
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee: Split?
After a violent altercation at home, Pamela divorced Tommy in 1998. After pleading no contest to felony spousal abuse, the father of two was arrested and sentenced to six months in prison.
Pamela recalls in her memoir that “hell began” that night. “The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most terrible period of my life. Crashed. “I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved most was capable of what had transpired that night,” she writes in Love, Pamela. “I had to safeguard my babies.”
In 2001 and 2008, Pamela and Tommy sought to reconcile. They broke up in 2010.
Tommy married Brittany Furlan in 2019. Pamela married Dan Hayhurst in January 2020 and divorced a year later. “Every once in a while,” Pamela writes in her memoir, the famous exes still talk.
