Post-credits sequences are typically reserved for films that are part of an interconnected cinematic universe that spans multiple separate franchises, such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the unofficially named DC Extended Universe, or for films that will almost certainly be followed by a sequel.
After all, post-credits stingers are intended to tease future storylines, locations to visit, people to meet, challenges to solve, and riddles to solve.
In the case of The Rise of Skywalker, the saga-ending chapter that marks the end of an era and ties up the Star Wars sequel trilogy, one would assume that the chances of seeing a post-credits scene are slim, if not non-existent because there is no narrative ground left to cover by the end of the film.
When it comes to whether or not The Rise of Skywalker features a post-credits sequence, the answer is emphatic “no.”
The Rise of Skywalker had its world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, December 16, and when Disney and Lucasfilm (the two businesses behind the Star Wars media property) removed the review embargo on Wednesday, December 18, various sites confirmed that there is no post-credits sequence.
According to GamesRadar, nothing comes close to the domain of Post-Credits Scene Land after the last minutes of The Rise of Skywalker, not even a brief tease for the next episode of the Star Wars film series.

Fans May Still Wish to See the Rise of Skywalker’s Credits
However, just because The Rise of Skywalker lacks a post-credits scene does not imply that the film’s credits aren’t intriguing or engaging.
According to CNET, the credits include a full cast list, including some surprise revelations about who exactly lent their voice to “pivotal scenes” in The Rise of Skywalker.
According to GamesRadar, the Rise of Skywalker credits play out like a “celebration” of everyone who helped bring the film to life, including the primary cast and core creative crew, as well as department heads, best boys, gaffers, key grips, hundreds of assistants, and many more.
Some may have expected an epic, Avengers: Endgame-style ending montage honoring the major players in the Skywalker saga — such as Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, the late Carrie Fisher, Ian McDiarmid, Billy Dee Williams, James Earl Jones, Anthony Daniels, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega, to name a few — with their own send-off footage given that the film is the culmination of a decade The film, on the other hand, took a different approach and kept things simple with its credits.
