When will Marvel Zombies be out in stores? The MCU keeps growing, and the partnership between Marvel and Disney is going strong as Phase 4 comes to a close. Beyond that, Marvel’s plans for Phases 5 and 6 are set, and a number of MCU movies and Marvel series have already been announced.
On the streaming service Disney Plus, part of that journey to the small screen is to check out different animated series projects. Marvel Zombies is one of the most interesting ideas that the studios are moving forward with. If you couldn’t tell from the name, it’s about your favourite MCU characters turning into flesh-eating zombies.
So, when does Kevin Feige’s master plan call for the Marvel Zombies game to come out? Which good guys and bad guys from the Marvel movies are most likely to show up in the TV show? And what should we expect from the show? Well, don’t worry, because we have everything you need to know to get ready for the zombie invasion.
Marvel Zombies Release Date
There is no exact date for when Marvel Zombies will come out yet, but the series is expected to come out sometime in 2024.

Many of the upcoming Marvel projects, especially the big-screen adventure movies, have more specific release dates. Disney, on the other hand, is a bit more careful when planning its small-screen projects.
Who will be in the Cast of Marvel Zombies?
So far, no voice actors have been confirmed for the Marvel Zombies cast. If our guesses are right, though, actors like Paul Rudd could play the same role in the animated show as they did in the live-action movie.
In Marvel’s What If…? episode about zombies, Mark Ruffalo, Evangeline Lilly, Paul Bettany, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, and the late Chadwick Boseman were there with Rudd. With this in mind, it’s likely that the Marvel Zombies cast will include well-known actors.
We can only guess about the cast of Marvel Zombies until we know for sure what the story will be about. If the show does stick to the plot of What If…? We should see Hudson Thomas as Peter Parker and Paul Rudd as Scott Lang again.
Sad to say, it’s not likely that Chadwick Boseman will continue to be T’Challa’s voice as the story goes on. Even though he died too soon, he might have recorded some lines, but we don’t think there was enough work done to finish a whole series.

If the Walking Dead version of Thanos ends up being the bad guy in Marvel Zombies, Josh Brolin is a good bet to give the character a voice. The actor has played the part in other episodes of What If…?, so it’s clear that he’s open to the idea.
What is the Expected Plot for Marvel Zombies?
It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s likely that the zombie episode of Marvel’s What If…? series will continue in the Marvel Zombies series.
The main idea of that episode was that the Quantum virus spread around the world and caused people to come back from the dead and hunt for flesh. The bigger problem was that any superhero who got the virus and turned into a zombie would still have their powers.
By the end of the episode, Peter Parker, T’Challa, and Scott Lang (or at least his head) had all made it through the fight with Wanda Maximoff as a zombie. Now that the heroes have the mind stone, they go to Wakanda to try to find a cure for the virus.
Unfortunately, a huge army of zombies led by a dead Thanos is waiting for them there. He really can’t be stopped! We’re sure that this cliffhanger will be picked up at some point, and even though a second season of What If…? is coming up, we think that Marvel Zombies would be the best show to tell this story in depth.

We do know that there will be four episodes of Marvel Zombies. This means that the story will be fairly short and stand on its own. We’ve also heard rumours that the show will be rated R, which means we could see some of the most violent scenes in the MCU so far!
