My Happy Marriage is a light novel series written in Japanese that was first published online. However, because of its popularity, Fujimi Shobo decided to publish it. My Happy Marriage was published in 2019 and was written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The series includes five volumes thus far. Since December 20, 2018, a manga adaptation of the series by Rito Kohsaka has been streaming on Square Enix’s Gangan Online service. My Happy Marriage will now get an anime adaptation. Kinema Citrus will be in charge of the anime’s production. Reina Ueda and Kaito Ishikawa will play Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudou, respectively, as the major leads. Yuudai Kubota will direct the series, while Sachiko Yasuda will be in charge of character design.
Moreover, Ami Satou, Takahito Oonishi, and Momoka Toyoda are in charge of the My Happy Marriage anime writing. Abo Takao will be in charge of the setting and supervision, while Emi Katanosaka will be in charge of the art direction. The anime’s art advisor will be Osamu Masuyama, and the photography director will be Ema Tsunetaka. In addition, color designer Anna Okamatsu and music composer Evan Call will step in for each other.
