Although The Kardashians’ Season 5 finale was billed as a dramatic spectacle, Kris Jenner‘s obsessive pursuit of Kendall Jenner’s family was really more of a simmering undercurrent than a shocking reveal.
Kris’s remarks about wanting another grandchild felt like a tired trope rather than a novel turn of events in an episode that promised tremendous drama.
Kris Says She Wants a Grandchild From Kendall
Despite the sea of Kardashian-Jenner siblings who have already welcomed fatherhood, Kris Jenner’s need for another grandchild grabbed center stage, while Kendall Jenner remains childless. Kris was more interested in keeping the established family dynamic than bringing in any truly fresh drama, even though she already had 14 grandchildren.
Kris expressed her want for Kendall to become a mother during the program, stating, “We’re so blessed and so happy that he’s here, finally. Kourtney [Kardashian] had her baby boy Rocky.” Furthermore, my child Kendall still hasn’t given birth. Therefore, you never know.

It’s interesting that this episode didn’t touch on Kendall’s recent reconnection with Bad Bunny, who had previously shown no desire in getting married or having kids. Given that the Puerto Rican artist has never appeared on the program, this is not shocking.
In contrast to her younger sister Kylie Jenner, Kendall may not be eager to raise a family based on their reconciliation after their breakup in December of last year. Having had her first child at the age of 20, Kylie now has two children, demonstrating a sharp difference in their family life philosophies.
