As a movie, Freddy Freeman’s (Jack Dylan Grazer) encyclopedic knowledge of Batman and Superman is key to Billy Batson’s (Zachary Levi and Asher Angel) transformation into the superhero Shazam when he acquires extraordinary powers.
But there is ONE law of modern superheroes that not even Freddy knows: if you film a superhero movie, you MUST include a few sneaky moments after the credits have rolled, suggesting future sequels, team-ups, or simply adding comedy.
Post-credits Scene
After losing to Shazam and the Shazam Family in the funfair, Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) appears in the first credits scene.
In his cell, he’s desperately trying to draw the symbols in the right order to return to the Rock of Eternity and reclaim the Seven Deadly Sins’ powers.
A voice mocks Sivana as he fails again. “Basics. You cave-drawing monkeys. You think magic is only one way. No. Ways abound “says.
Sivana finds a caterpillar-like creature on a cell ledge. Mister Mind, a Shazam! a supervillain is an intelligent extraterrestrial worm.
In the comics, Sivana often joins Mister Mind’s Monster Society of Evil, and the scenario suggests a sequel team-up. “We’ll have fun. Ours will be the seven realms “Mister Mind informs Sivana.
The comics’ Seven Magiclands are the “seven kingdoms.” Could they be crucial in a Shazam? sequel?

Mister Mind appears in a jar during Sivana’s childhood visit to the Rock of Eternity before the credits. After Sivana frees the Seven Deadly Sins, that jar breaks.
Director David F. Sandberg also voiced Billy Batson’s real mother’s “asshole boyfriend,” Mister Mind.
Two-scene Post-credits
Shazamsecond !’s post-credits sequence is a comedy like MCU movies. Shazam pretends to converse with a fish in a fishbowl: “Don’t worry—you’ll find someone. Fish are plentiful, so I’m sure.” He’s kidding. Shazam can’t telepathically communicate with fish because he’s not Aquaman.
Shazam mocks the power (“What could we do with that’s cool?”), but Freddy says he could control “an army of billions in the ocean”. Shazam laughs. This appears to be a cut moment from Shazam and Freddy’s abilities montage.
What Will the Post-Credits Scenes of Shazam 2 Bring?
While most DC Universe films have only featured one post-credits scene, both Justice League (2017) and The Suicide Squad (2021) included a mid-credits sequence in addition to a post-credits scene; Shazam 2 may continue this tradition.
Even while Sandberg has not yet confirmed or disputed this rumor, it is highly conceivable that this will be the ultimate number, especially as the trend becomes more consistent with other brands as well.
Without knowing much about Shazam 2’s real narrative, it is difficult to predict what will be presented in the film’s two post-credits sequences.
