How Did Chris Streveler Start His Professional Career?
Streveler, who is from Illinois, started his collegiate career with Minnesota, where he played for three seasons. The 6-foot-1, 217-pound signal-caller spent his final two seasons in South Dakota after transferring there, and he was not selected in the 2018 draught. He joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and played in the CFL for two seasons, winning the Grey Cup in 2019 with Winnipeg.
After that, Streveler signed with the Arizona Cardinals, and on September 13, 2020, he made his NFL debut. He was released by the Cardinals in November 2021, and he finished the season on the practice squad of the Baltimore Ravens. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins in February of this year, and he was released three months later.

At the start of training camp, Streveler signed with the Jets and performed well in the preseason. He completed 277 passes for 277 yards, a 72.7 completion rate, five touchdowns, and a 120.9 passer rating in three games.
He also threw two game-winning touchdown passes. He was released by the Jets before the regular season began, although he later joined the practice squad.
