The Punjab Educare Mobile App was developed by the Department of School Education, Government of Punjab, to enable students to continue their studies when the country was under Covid-19 lockdown. Due to the pandemic, schools had to close, and the only way to replace the teachers was through digital learning. Through the Google Play store, students can download the Punjab Educare app online.
Schools and classes resumed as usual when the pandemic ended, but the Punjab government wants to stick with the choice due to the app’s popularity.
The state education department will introduce digital lessons through various TV/radio channels, including YouTube, WhatsApp, Skype/Zoom, etc. before launching the Punjab Educare Mobile app online.
