Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Sotsu Season 3: Renewal Status
Season 1 of the show ran from April 5, 2006, to September 27, 2006, and had a total of 26 episodes. Season 2 ran from July 7, 2007, to December 18, 2007, and had a total of 24 episodes. After that, a new OVA series with five 20- to 25-minute episodes came out from February 25, 2009, to August 21, 2009. The series was shown on Chiba TV, Kansai TV, and Tokai TV, among other channels.
