The fiction isekai series “Wise Man’s Grandchild” began as a light novel on the independent Japanese website Shsetsuka ni Nar and was first published in 2015. Tsuyoshi Yoshioka wrote it, and Seiji Kikuchi illustrated it.
Following a horrific automobile accident, Shin Wolford, a modern Japanese man, is reborn into a fantastical realm.
A fictional magician, Merlin Wolford, discovers his newborn self and raises him to be one of the land’s most powerful wizards. On the other hand, Shin’s isolated upbringing and memories of his previous life make navigating the new environment difficult.
Since its publication by Kadokawa, the book has spawned manga and anime adaptations.
These two series, which began in 2019 with Silver Link’s animation, have since been cancelled. “Wise Man’s Grandchild” fans are now wondering if the show will be renewed for a second season.
Unfortunately, no official statements have been made about Season 2 of “Wise Man’s Grandchild.” Keep in mind that this isn’t the first time an anime has gone on hiatus before concluding that the series is over.

Because none of the producers have confirmed a second season, it’s difficult to pinpoint an exact release date for the anime. Season 2’s projected production cycle is even more concerning.
The anime’s first season was announced in 2017, but it did not premiere until 2019. If the creative process for Season 2 is anything like the first, fans of the series may have to wait years for the anime’s continuation after the first announcement.
There is, however, a silver lining for those who enjoy watching dubs. As with a lot of other anime, Funimation and Crunchyroll are dubbed “Wise Man’s Grandchild” in both English and Japanese.
As a result, dub viewers can expect to be able to watch Season 2 of “Wise Man’s Grandchild” alongside their subtitle-reading counterparts when it is released.

Wise Man’s Grandchild Season 2 Plot
In the final episode of Season 1 of “Wise Man’s Grandchild,” Shin defeated Schtrom’s Demonoid army. Despite this, Schtrom remains a threat to the many kingdoms of the world.
Shin and his crew set out on an expedition to form alliances with other kingdoms in order to combat the Demonoid threat.
According to the manga summary on the online manga site Bookwalker, this sequence only includes the first few of the seventeen published volumes. Silver Link will have plenty of material to work with if a second season is made.
From Shin’s brief beach vacation following the above-mentioned conflict to his subsequent efforts to unite the world’s various nations into a World Union, these volumes cover a wide range of events.
Fans will have to wait a little longer to see how these events unfold. Fans will have to rely on manga and light novels until then to get answers to their “Wise Man’s Grandchild” questions.
