Warzone: Pacific’s Pacific Season 2 update is not only the biggest in the game’s history as a free-to-play battle royale, but it’ll also likely change which firearms you rely on and the competitive meta for the game as a whole.
Some of Warzone’s best guns are likely to continue to be dominant in the new meta (more on that later), but the new update has at least done a good job of shaking up the meta in a way that it’s worth your time to explore some of the game’s new guns, as well as a few guns that feel new thanks to nerfs and buffs.
These appear to be the best guns in Battle Royale right now, although I’m curious to see what the Warzone pros can do with new weapons that may appear and take control of the battle.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific: Best Guns
Cooper Carbine is a rifle made by Cooper.
Recently implemented changes to Warzone have some Cooper Carbine fans worried, but in my opinion, these nerfs are only minor enough to keep the Cooper Carbine as one of your best overall AR options in the game.
If you’re one of the many gamers who enjoy using this gun, I believe its high rate of fire, decent damage, and consistency will make it difficult to put down.
141 kilos
The Kilo 141 assault rifle is likely to be your best option if you need your assault rifle to perform at long ranges.
I expect this to be a popular assault rifle in the early stages of the Pacific Season 2 meta. Using this rifle from a distance, it’s easy to pick off individuals or small groups. It also does well in close-quarters battles.
Whitley
While I doubt the Bruen will completely disappear from the meta, I do believe that the Whitley will quickly become a favorite among LMG players.
One must not underestimate the Whitley. To compensate for its sluggish and sometimes wild nature, it is designed to annihilate enemies at short range, where it is virtually unbeatable. If you’re in the market for a new LMG, give this one a shot.

STG 44
The STG 44 may not be the best AR in Warzone, but the fact that it’s in the running shows that it has a lot of promise.
The STG 44’s close- and medium-range performance sets it apart from the competition. When you’re in a dangerous situation and don’t have time to switch to an SMG, this gun is a godsend to have at your disposal. So many situations lend themselves to their usefulness.
Bullfrog
Although the Bullfrog has been passed over by some players in favor of more modern and flashier weapons in recent updates, it should perform just as well in the next iteration.
The Bullfrog excels in close-range situations, but it’s its medium-range capabilities that truly set it apart from the rest of the SMG field. The Bullfrog is one of the best weapons in Warzone because it can be relied on in the most common situations.
MP 40
I’m hesitant to go with the MP 40 again in light of recent nerfs to the widely popular SMG, but everything I’ve seen so far leads me to believe that the MP 40 will be slightly less effective rather than skippable.
I believe the MP 40 will continue to be one of the most dependable firearms in the game for those who require a dependable SMG in difficult circumstances. Despite the lack of obvious powerful weapons in the meta, the MP 40 is likely to rise to prominence because of its reliability.
Swiss K31
In order to make this list, it’s tempting to include another assault rifle or SMG, but I think the Swiss K31 will surprise many gamers.
Sniper rifles have become increasingly popular in the Warzone meta, and the Swiss K31 has been the most benefited. Even though its stopping power won’t blow you away, this classic sniper rifle doesn’t necessitate that you be an expert marksman to get the most out of it.
Kar98k
The Kar98k has been on my radar ever since I began promoting Warzone guns, and I have no plans to stop now.
Kar98k is nearly indestructible. As long as your timing, awareness, and aim are near-perfect, you can easily take control of the game with it. If you’re confident in your ability to land headshots, you’ll be able to dominate with this always-reliable weapon.

XM4
As of the start of Warzone’s Pacific Season 2 update, the XM4 is once again being overlooked by players. I’m not sure why.
If you’re looking for a weapon that’s both accurate and powerful, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better option than the XM4’s low recoil, high accuracy, and more than adequate damage output.
5.56 Grau
Normally, I’d recommend something other than an assault rifle for this final slot on the list, but the Grau 5.56 is now simply too good to pass up.
Those looking for fully automatic weapons that are effective (though not dominant) at nearly any range should look no further than the Grau 5.56. If you know how to use it to its full potential in each of its possible contexts, this is a weapon that can help you dominate your opponent.
