Shannon Beador is not interested in interacting with John Janssen or Alexis Bellino.
While talking about the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Orange County, 60-year-old Beador exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month, “There were other reasons, John, aside, that I don’t want to pursue a friendship with [Alexis].”
“There’s the video where she says something like, ‘You’re not going to win my man.'” I feel as though I’m not competing. Have fun!
Janssen and Beador had sporadic relationships from 2019 until 2023. June 2023 marked the final breakup of the couple. Bellino, 47, and Before and Janssen’s breakup occurred five months prior to the reports of a romance.
After being sighted together at an event, the couple denied dating at the time, but in December 2023 they took their relationship on Instagram.
The final time Beador spoke with John, he told her, “I am breaking ties with you because you have ruined my life and my family’s by being so public. I don’t know what’s in his head.” And he’s giving red carpet interviews and Oscar parties six weeks later. Alright, Mr. Private.
That phone conversation, Beador claimed, was the last time she had communicated with Janssen. Although Bellino and Janssen’s affair originally wounded Beador, she is now happy that chapter of her life is over.
Three and a half years later, John and I called it quits. He dated someone for six months, and it was very public. I dated someone, but none of us acknowledged it when we did reconnect,” she said. “I believe that although we cared for one another, we both understood in our hearts that it would never work.
After that, we got back together and pretended to be boyfriend and girlfriend for an additional six months. I’m relieved that we are no longer together, and perhaps this incident was necessary for me to sever my relationship.
Both Beador and Bellino have a rich past, in addition to Beador and Janssen. In 2018, Jim Bellino, Alexis’ ex-husband, sued Beador and costar Tamra Judge for defamation, alleging they committed a million-dollar crime.
Jim said that during a joint appearance on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast, the women made improper remarks about his business and divorce. The remarks, according to both Housewives, were made without malice. Later in 2019, Beador was removed from the complaint. In 2021, Jim and the Judge came to an undisclosed settlement.
“During the height of my case, which caused me a great deal of worry. “We were together,” she remarked, referring to Janssen supporting her during the court matter. Thus, he was aware of that. And Alexis initiated the case by writing Tamra a letter, which I informed him about.
Despite their past disagreements, Beador now want to keep to herself in order to prevent further stress with Janssen and Alexis.
“I want no involvement in [their relationship] at all. and I wanted us to know it clearly,” Beador said to Us. “Because even if I had pulled her aside and said, ‘Okay. And honestly? You’re in a relationship with my ex. Then, it appears that I want him back. For me, the lawsuit is sufficient.
Beador dealt with her own legal troubles in addition to the turmoil she had with Alexis and Janssen. She was taken into custody in September 2023 on charges of DUI and hit-and-run. Beador was given a three-year probationary sentence and mandated to finish a nine-month alcohol program after her arrest. The reality star revealed to Us that the experience made her consider self-improvement.
She clarified, “I’ve done a lot, but I still have more to do.” In addition to visiting my therapist, I spent 30 days seeing a psychiatrist from the program. And I think I’m becoming bigger. I’m trying to make the best thing I can out of a terrible situation and am moving in the direction of wellness.
