Health Problems of Josh Gates
The bat poop made Gates and several other team members unwell, necessitating medical assistance. Josh Gates is in very good health. But everyone knows that the TV personality is allergic to English ivy (hedera helix). Gates said that he felt “special” about being allergic to it because almost no one else was.
After recording risky things for a few days, the host gets sick. He went to the hospital because he ate food that had bat guano on it. In July 2021, he and the other people on the Discovery crew worked and lived for several days 100 feet underground.
Since they ate the food that was out in the open, they ate bat guano, spider webs, and other insect waste. Bat guano helped doctors figure out what was wrong with a patient who was in such bad shape that they had to be rushed to the hospital. The sickness had made the presenter swear to never go back to that kind of place again.

Josh Gates’s Health Condition After Illness
Josh Gates seems to be doing fine till 2022. He probably started taking better care of himself and choosing healthier foods after the incident in 2021. Additionally, he lost approximately 30 pounds during the Covid epidemic. He talked to the media about his weight loss, attributing it to a change in diet and consistent exercise.
At the start of the Covid outbreak, he changed his food and exercise routines, which led to significant weight loss and weight loss maintenance. He has recently been required to manage several jobs at once. On August 5, he announced to his Josh Gates Live audience that he was moving from California to New England.
