Guy Pearce’s acting career began in 1985 when he signed on to star in “Neighbours,” a well-known Australian soap opera. He spent many years working on the show. In 1988, he began working on “Home and Away” and “Snowy River: The McGregor Saga” television series (1993).
He was cast in the movies “Heaven Tonight,” “Hunting,” and “Flynn” by the well-known director, producer, and writer Frank Howson, who also paid for his travel expenses to attend the “Hunting” premiere at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival.
