The second season of ‘The Misfit Of Demon King‘ has been renewed! In March 2021, Aniplex released a Japanese-language teaser video for the following season.
In October of this year, the first season was revealed. After being postponed, the epidemic was relaunched the next year, in July 2020. The second season could be released on September 21, 2022, if the first season’s schedule is followed.

The Demon Lord, Anos Voldigoad, grew so powerful two thousand years ago that not even the gods could stop him. Anos has become bored after millennia of battle. He desired that everyone live in harmony.
As a result, he and Kanon, humanity’s hero, reach an agreement. After making self-sacrifice for the greater good, he reincarnates 2,000 years later. This is also the time when the Demon King Academy is founded.
The difficulty is that his magical talent has decreased with time. As a result, the Demon King Academy had no idea how powerful Anos was when it accepted students. He is eventually called a misfit.
In the first season, Anos’ adventure into the contemporary world teaches him a lot. The fact that no one remembers who he was previously astounded the former Demon Lord.
