However, Hayden Panettiere’s ex Brian Hickerson insists that they are not back together despite their recent reunion.
It’s now been about two months since Hickerson was declared innocent, and the actor, 31, confirmed that they dined together on Saturday night at a West Hollywood restaurant.
“To clarify, I was having a Miller ‘Latte,’ slang for Miller Lite, and Hayden was not drinking,” Hayden Panettiere said on E! News on Wednesday. Panettiere is currently abstaining from alcohol and other drugs.

Although Panettiere and Hickerson are “not back together,” according to the actor, the two are “working on rebuilding their friendship.”

When we emailed the “Heroes” alum’s publicist, they didn’t get back to us right away.
It was revealed to E! News by a close friend of Panettiere that she is devoting most of her time and energy to improving the relationship she has with her daughter Kaya, 6, and ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.
However, a source close to Hayden said that she is willing to forgive Brian and start a new chapter in her life. Her family is concerned. Hayden has been described as “having a huge heart and a desire to see the best in everyone” by others.

After pleading no contest to two felony counts of causing bodily harm to a spouse or lover, Brian Hickerson was sentenced to 45 days in county jail in April. When he surrendered on May 7, he was released the next day.

A $500 fine and four years of probation were also imposed on him for his involvement in domestic violence, along with 52 hours of community service and a $500 fine.
There is no ban on Hickerson and victim “amicably interacting” under the five-year restraining order, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
At some point between May of 2019 and January of 2020, Hickerson was arrested for alleged assaults on Panettiere for which he initially denied any responsibility and was sentenced by a judge.
“I am coming forward with the truth about what happened to me… in the hope that my story will empower others in abusive relationships to get the help they need,” she wrote on her Instagram.

Finally, she said, “I am ready to do my part to ensure that this man never hurts anyone again.” I was able to regain control of my life and my voice thanks to the support of my loved ones and friends.
Hickerson was arrested for domestic battery on Valentine’s Day in 2020 and for domestic violence in May 2019. Both of these events involved Panettiere.
