Real Steel told the story of washed-up boxer Charlie Kenton (Jackman), who was drowning in debt that others yearned for, so Charlie decided to make a living in the up-and-coming sport of robotic boxing.
When Charlie discovers he has a son, Max, and feels compelled to move in with him to bond, he discovers Max is attracted to robotic boxing.
They form teams and, after a few disappointments, discover a sparring robot that they believe has the potential to become a competitor in the robotic boxing world.
Real Steel 2 is still a possibility, with the people demonstrating their approval by giving the film more than $300 million in theatres across the world.
This Real Steel series should follow suit with its story, delving deep into the world it created. But, since 2016, things have been quiet on the Real Steel 2 front; is this series doomed or on its way?

Hugh and I, on the other hand, would only do it if the narrative seemed original; likewise, the persona journeys were novel, and we’ve decided each, but not at the same time.
It’s still going on. I’m aware that the clock is ticking. Strangely, for a picture that went extremely well internationally–it fared well domestically–the passion for ‘Real Steel’ remains unique in the same way that ardent fans ask me all the time for every other one.
Hugh and I both like that movie, so if we can figure out how to produce it, we will. However, I believe that if we make it emerge soon or openly, the target market may also be unaware of and react in a similar manner. So, we’ll see,” he said, referring to Levy.
“We had better make it happen soon,” as the crucial term here is, since although so far so well, a single movie franchise has all the potential of target market feigning interest if a series is released after a decade.
When it comes to the plot, the first film, set in 2020, ended with Max and Charlie as father and son, while Atom, who technically lost the war, was dubbed the “people’s victor.”
The film may choose to pick up after the time gap that has passed since the first film was released, even though it would make little sense to put the film even five years later (2025).

Furthermore, the fact that Jackman and Goyo, who played Charlie and Max, have aged significantly since then.
