Fans have been wondering when — or even if — “Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions” will return for a third season for quite some time. The first instalment of drama fiction was published in 2012, and it’s been more than ten years since then.
Since then, we’ve seen Yta and Rikka have similar fantastical adventures in a second season and a highlight period film, and fans are clamouring for more.
The storey follows a young couple’s odd love as they struggle to earn life as “Chunibyo.” The period shows a visionary whose visions of divine talents cause so much grief in their everyday life that they are diagnosed as having a critical delusional disorder.
The difficulty with these “eighth-grade complex” Walter Mitty personalities is that they cling to childish dreams long after they have outgrown their social expectations.
Without a definitive confirmation from Kyoto Studios, essential data about a hypothetical third season are scarce. Are fans’ expectations as inflated as those of their favourite actors? All of the details are included here.
Release Date for Season 3 of Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions
Season two premiered in 2014, and fans have been waiting seven years for a third season. The idea of a third season has been mentioned here and there, but the makers have yet to confirm it.
As a consequence, the filmmakers published the Eiga Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! in 2018. ‘Take On Me‘ concluded the second season’s loose ends. Season 3 of Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions is set to premiere on May 19, 2022.

The Love Plot in Season 3 Other Delusions & Chunibyo
We’ve all been superheroes of some type, and some of us still feel we have superhuman skills.

The protagonist, Yuta Togashi, has found himself in a lot of unpleasant situations as a consequence of his previous traumatising acts as a “Chuunibyou.”
His actions were so horrific that he decided to leave everything behind and begin a new life at a college far away from his former one.
