Houseki no Kuni, a new fantasy series created by Studio Orange (the studio behind “Black Bullet” and “Beastars“), begins as a humorous fantasy, but as you discover more about the characters, you find yourself empathizing more and more with their flaws.
If you haven’t seen ‘Houseki no Kuni,’ you’re missing out on a truly unique film experience. There may be some good news in the following part, though, for those who have been wishing for a sequel to this anime.
Release Date for Houseki no Kuni Season 2
On October 7th, 2017, ‘Houseki no Kuni’ premiered its first season, which aired till December 23rd, 2017, The first season show covers over five manga volumes, which translates to another 30 chapters for the show’s creators to finish.
A second season is not likely to be affected by a lack of source material. In addition, sales of the manga more than doubled after its release in October of last year. As a result, the anime was a huge hit, despite its origins as a promotional tool for the manga.
According to the show’s overall rating and popularity on various platforms, it has done well thus far.
We will have to wait and watch if “Houseki no Kuni” is resurrected in the near future without more confirmation from the studio.
It’s reasonable to assume that Houseki no Kuni season 2 is expected to arrive on 10 August 2022.

The plot of season two of Houseki no Kuni
“Houseki no Kuni’s” world has been overrun by crystal-like creatures known as Gems. In the conflict with the Lunarians, these gems have a special role to play. As a group, Lunarians have the primary goal of dismantling these jewels and using the pieces as ornaments.
Phosphophyllite is a young gem that dreams of being a formidable combatant in the future, despite its fragile appearance. Instead of being the military hero, she dreams of being, she is forced to create an encyclopedia because of his frailty.
The first time Phos meets Cinnabar, she reluctantly agrees to take on her quest, despite her initial reservations. Cinnabar is another gem that has been given the mission of protecting an isolated island at night.
Seeing that Cinnabar and Phos both dislike their jobs, Phos promises herself that she will find work for them both. They begin their journey to protect their fellow gems with courage and adventure in the following passages.
