Millions of Americans got the $1,400 stimulus payment in 2021, but other people were left out for a variety of reasons.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, three economic impact payments have been made.
The cheques were each for $1,200, $600, and $1,400.
The first two took place in 2020, with the most recent one taking place in March of 2021.
How to Get $1,400 in the Fourth Stimulus Check
On December 31, 2021, the IRS stopped delivering stimulus checks.
If you didn’t get it, you’ll have to claim it on your taxes.

Checks for stimulus and the Recovery Rebate Credit
The Recovery Rebate Credit was established in 2021 to allow consumers to collect any stimulus monies received after 2020.
The goal is for people who may be eligible but was overlooked for whatever reason to get reimbursement.
You must submit a tax return to claim this credit, even if you don’t ordinarily file one.

Why didn’t you receive the stimulus check?
According to Marca, there are three reasons why you may not have gotten a check.
- You didn’t have a kid until 2021, therefore you can’t claim it till then.
- You have a new dependant who you won’t be able to claim until you submit your tax return for 2021.
- You earned more in 2020, but less in 2021, and the IRS was completely ignorant of this.
