The National Archives recently discovered a chart that former President Donald Trump reportedly created using a black sharpie marker to illustrate the trajectory of storm Dorian as it approached Alabama in 2019, as well as other boxes of material that he had carried to his Mar-a-Lago estate.
The former president was chastised for incorrectly predicting that Alabama would be affected by Hurricane Harvey, despite the government’s meteorological prognosis.

On Monday, the National Archives accused him of illegally taking materials from the White House that should have been officially turned over to the agency.

The National Archives has previously said that among the papers that Mr Trump attempted to prevent the examining committee from seeing were some that he had torn up and had to be tapped by its personnel.

Mr. Trump has often used the legal concept in court in an attempt to keep his relationships secret from public scrutiny. President Joe Biden, on the other hand, has refused to extend the privilege to the documents that his predecessor is concerned about.
