The following is the Social Security payment schedule for February:

If your birthday falls on the first or second Wednesday of the month, you’ll receive your payment on Feb. 9.

You’ll receive your payment on Feb. 16 if your birthday falls between Feb. 11 and Feb. 20.

If you were born between January 21st and January 31st, your check will be mailed to you on Wednesday, February 23rd.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) may be available to you if you feel that your monthly Social Security check is not enough to cover your basic expenses. On February 1, SSI will be paid out.

If you began receiving Social Security benefits prior to May 1997, or if you receive both Social Security and SSI, you will receive your SSI payment on February 1 and your Social Security payment on February 3.
