Emirates announces 1,704 new cases of COVID-19, 1,992 recoveries, 1 death in last 24 hours

WAM/ABU DHABI, 7 FEBRUARY 2022 — Over the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) completed 473,298 more COVID-19 tests utilizing cutting-edge medical testing technology.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement that it intends to continue increasing the breadth of testing throughout the country to help with early diagnosis of coronavirus infections and treatment. MoHAP revealed 1,704 additional coronavirus cases as part of its increased testing program, increasing the total number of cases in the UAE to 859,361.

The afflicted persons, according to the Ministry, are of different nationalities, are in a stable condition, and are getting the appropriate treatment.

The Ministry of Health and Population also revealed the death of one person as a result of COVID-19 problems, bringing the total number of fatalities in the nation to 2,265.

The Ministry sent its heartfelt sympathies to the deceased’s family and hoped the COVID-19 patients a swift and complete recovery. It urged all members of society to work with health officials, follow directions, and maintain physical distance in order to safeguard everyone’s health and safety.

The Ministry of Health and Human Services also reported that an additional 1,992 people had entirely recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of people who had fully recovered to 786,642.
