    Tina Turner is a retired American singer, dancer, and actress who was born in Switzerland on November 26, 1939, as Anna Mae Bullock. She became well-known as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before beginning a lucrative solo career, earning her the title “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

    Tina has health problems, yet she is still alive. After getting married to Erwin Bach, she suffered a stroke and later received a diagnosis of colon cancer.

    Turner wrote about her serious illnesses in her 2018 memoir My Love Story. Three weeks after marrying Erwin Bach, she suffered a stroke in 2013, and she later had to retrain her legs to walk. In 2016, a diagnosis of intestinal cancer was made her.

    Turner decided to take homeopathic drugs to control her high blood pressure, which finally caused renal damage and kidney failure. It was suggested that she start dialysis because it seemed unlikely that she would get a kidney. She joined Exit and thought about having a kidney transplant, but Bach offered to donate one. Turner got a kidney transplant on April 7, 2017.

    Harry Taylor and Turner first fell in love when Taylor was still a resident of Brownsville. At a high school basketball game where they first met. Taylor first enrolled at a different school, but later relocated to be near her. Their romance ended when she found out that Taylor had married another woman who was carrying his child.

    In 1986, German music mogul Erwin Bach, who later became Tina Turner’s second husband, was dispatched by her European record label to see Turner at Düsseldorf Airport. She is more than sixteen years older than Bach, who was born on January 24, 1956, in Cologne, Germany. Before they started dating later that year, they were initially pals. After 27 years of dating, they got hitched in a civil ceremony in Küsnacht, Switzerland, in July 2013.

    Tina Turner’s Children

    Tina Turner has four children. Two of Tina Turner’s sons are adopted; the other two are her biological children. Craig was born to Turner and musician Raymond Hill in 1958 when she was just 18 years old. Craig was later adopted by Ike Turner. Then Turner and Ike Turner’s son Ronnie were born in 1960. With his mother and father, Ronnie has played bass guitar in bands. In 2007, he wed Afida Turner.

    Two of Ike Turner’s children, Ike Jr. (born in 1958) and Michael (born in 1959), were also adopted by Turner. Ike Turner Jr. co-wrote and produced “Risin’ with the Blues,” which won him a Grammy, with his father.

    Since the 1990s, the couple has resided in Switzerland, but Turner didn’t acquire Swiss citizenship until 2013 when she renounced her American citizenship.
