Keke Palmer and her partner Darius Jackson are expecting a child. On December 3, when hosting Saturday Night Live, the 29-year-old actress announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
On the Studio 8H stage, Palmer unbuttoned her long jacket to expose her expanding baby belly, exclaiming, “There are rumors circulating, and people have been commenting that ‘Keke is having a baby, Keke is pregnant,’ and I want to set the record right – I am!”
Jackson later welcomed the news by posting a romantic snapshot of the Nope star during a dinner outing with the phrase “2023” on his Instagram Story.

Since they were first linked in 2021, the couple has kept their relationship relatively private, only attending a handful of events together.
However, Palmer told Bustle that she wasn’t trying to hide anything: “This is the happiest I’ve ever felt with someone. So why would I go out of my way to hide this person? That’s a lot more work than just living in my life and being in my life.”
When Did Darius Jackson and Keke Palmer Start Dating?
The actress from Hustlers and the personal trainer apparently began dating in 2021, after meeting at a Memorial Day party. Palmer revealed their romance in August of that year by uploading an Instagram photo of them together.
The couple keeps their relationship quiet and out of the public spotlight, as Palmer described in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in March 2022: “I’ve always had the same dating mentality.
Not that I wouldn’t give someone the benefit of the doubt. To keep my private life separate from my professional life, I find it easiest not to date someone in the same profession.
I often wonder, Does this individual truly like me for who I am? It’s not only romantic connections, either. It’s also pals. This instability is the most devastating aspect of celebrity.”
How Did Keke Palmer Reveal That She Was Pregnant?
Palmer confirmed her pregnancy while hosting SNL for the first time on Saturday, 3 December. Palmer, wearing a blazer over her cropped shirt and jacket, stated: “There are rumors circulating, and people have been commenting on my Instagram saying, ‘Keke is pregnant, Keke is having a baby,’ and I want to set the record right – I am.”

Palmer continued, “I mean, I was trying so hard to keep it quiet because I have so much going on, you know? “People kept coming up to me and saying, ‘Congratulations.’ I was like, ‘Quiet, I’ve got a liquor sponsorship at stake.’ The cheque must clear before we can attend the blasted baby shower. ’”
She continued, “However, this has been the greatest blessing, and I’m ecstatic. I’m going to be a mother! Even though some people find it odd that I’m having a child because I was a child actress, I’d like to say, “Look, I’m 29, I’m an adult, I have sex, and I own a house. … Things that adults do'”
