Tay K, a rapper from the United States whose true name is Taymor Travon McIntyre, was born in Long Beach, California, on June 16, 2000.
When Tay K was a child, his father, Kevin Beverly, spent a significant amount of time behind bars.
But when Tay K was eight years old, his mother made the decision to relocate him, along with his sister, to Las Vegas, Nevada.
The entire family relocated to Arlington, Texas, in pursuit of a better life after Beverly was released from prison.
Tay K attended this high school until he dropped out in the ninth grade, at which point he really began to concentrate on his musical career.
With artists Santana Sage and Pimpyz, Tay K’s career began when he was just 14 years old as a member of the Arlington-based rap trio Daytona Boyz. In December 2014, they released Drift as their debut song.
Tay K published his lone song BIFF XANNEN on his audio-distribution network, SoundCloud, eight months later, in August 2015.
He also released Sly Cooper a month later, which attracted a lot of attention from the Arlington rap community.

Many of his other songs, notably Megaman in March 2016, rose to fame only after he was detained on suspicion of capital murder.
The smash song The Race was released by the 17-year-old rapper when he was on the run from the law after breaking out of home arrest.
The song, which was recorded while he was on the run in New Jersey, was posted to YouTube two hours after his capture.
The Race debuted in the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 70 following the massive “#FREETAYK” movement that called for his release from prison.
The song reached its high at position 44 before being given a platinum certification by the RIAA in January 2018.
Tay K has stated that Soulja Boy, a rapper from the West Coast, Eazy-E, and Chief Keef, a native of Chicago, were some of his musical influences.

When Will Tay K Be Allowed to Leave Custody?
Tay K’s case concerning the event in San Antonio, for which the rapper and his legal team requested a juvenile status, was amended on October 3, 2017, to include new capital murder accusations.
For capital murder and aggravated robbery, one of Tay K’s female cohorts received a 20-year prison term in February 2018.
Another suspect entered into a plea agreement with the prosecution and consented to testify against her co-defendants, who included Tay K.
For the murder of Walker, a third suspect received an unremitting life sentence.
For the same charges, two further individuals were given 25- and 40-year sentences, respectively.
On May 24, 2018, it was established that McIntyre was not going to get the death penalty or a life sentence without the possibility of release.
Tay K admitted guilt to two counts of aggravated robbery on the first day of his trial, July 15, 2017, in the case involving a home invasion, but on July 19, a jury found him guilty of murder and a third count of aggravated robbery. During his trial, the rapper’s song “The Race” was cited as proof.
