Emily in Paris Season 3 starts in just a few days, and it’s the perfect gift for the holidays. Even though (or maybe because of) its overly simple plot and recycled rom-com tropes, Emily in Paris won our hearts from the very first season.
The series is easy to watch and can be watched all at once thanks to its short episodes and format, which is predictable in some ways but can still surprise. Netflix says that people watched Season 2 for a total of 280 million hours in the first four weeks after it came out. This makes it the most popular original comedy series on the streaming service.
At the end of Season 2, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) had to make a big decision: go back to her job in Chicago as planned, or take Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) offer to leave Savoir and start a new marketing firm. Emily is also in the middle of relationship drama now that Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat) are back together and living in the apartment below her. She is also trying to build things with her new love interest Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who has admitted to staying in France just for her. How are things going to go?

Netflix said that two more people would be joining the cast. Season 3 will have Paul Forman and Melia Kreiling as guest stars. Forman will play Nicolas De Leon, who is both a high-ranking executive at his family’s company and a prince (of course). “Nicolas De Leon seems to live a charmed life,” says Netflix. “But while his family name is a never-ending source of money, status, and access, it comes with a crushing pressure to prove himself as more than just a nepotism hire.”
