At this point, Chipotle is a common meal among college students worldwide. All the basic food categories are included in a satisfying lunch that costs eight bucks. Not to add that the flavor is very delicious.
What if you could get the same dinner with additional food for around the same price? Simply by altering the way you place your order, there are numerous ways to get more for your money at Chipotle. Even better, you can utilize your house leftovers as the foundation for additional dishes. Here are six methods to eat more at Chipotle:
1. Place an Order for Extra Bowls.
It’s no secret that a Chipotle bowl has the highest filling capacity of any dish. Just remember that you get more food than a burrito or quesadilla. The bowl’s ability to be larger than a tortilla or taco shell is mostly to blame for this. In order to get the most value for your money, I recommend getting the bowl.
But there’s just something more satisfying about a burrito. Perhaps it’s because every bite incorporates every element. Perhaps it’s simply because the warm, salty, chewy tortilla is so delicious.
When you order tortillas or taco shells with your meal, you can have the best of both worlds. In general, three taco shells or around one burrito tortilla’s worth of ingredients fit into one bowl. Most of the time, your server will add it without any additional fees or at the least, charge you a small fee.
2. Request half and half.
Half of one option and a half of another option should be requested for each step of the ordering procedure. Since the server is unlikely to accurately measure out the ingredients, in general, this will result in you getting more meals in the long run.
Both protein and beans can be used in this way. Take advantage of this since two types of meat might complement one another. It is advised to serve chicken and barbacoa. Do chicken and sofritas if you want to keep it cheap. Generally speaking, adding red meats will increase the price, especially the beef selections.
3. Request Additional Rice
If you request more rice, the waitress would gladly provide it for no additional charge. Chipotle doesn’t mind if you get more because rice is the cheapest ingredient. Brown rice is the way to go if you want more nourishment because it has more calories. Vitamins and minerals are added by the grain.
4. Enter the Night-Time
Your lunch will be especially enormous if you visit Chipotle right before it closes. This is so that all of the food can be thrown out before the restaurant closes. Although it makes sense that they would take it home, businesses forbid employees from doing so for concern that they will purposefully make too much food.
As a result, just before closing, your waitress will pile as much food as possible onto your plate in an effort to use it all up rather than let it go to waste. What is this drawback? Well, typically speaking, they are figuratively scraping the bottom of the pot. Therefore, it’s not always made with the best ingredients, and most of the time, it’s been sitting there for a long and is cold. You do so at your own peril.

5. Complete Everything
Don’t be a picky eater; cram your plate full of every ingredient Chipotle has to offer, barring the ones that are extra-priced, of course. Purchase the fajitas, each and every salsa, and the super greens to place on top of the lettuce.
Sure, your server could give you a strange look, but who cares? You’ve got a tonne of food. Love it.

6. Make it into something else
Your typical Chipotle bowl can serve as the foundation for a wide range of other meals. Make careful to leave out the lettuce if you intend to eat your dish as leftovers because it will wilt and rot. The lettuce won’t taste very good if you cook it.
Meal 1: Make a salad
The simplest method to turn leftovers into a fresh dinner is to use them as a salad topping. Choose a head of lettuce that you like, Boston lettuce is a good choice, chop it up, and then top it with any remaining Chipotle. You already have your dressing if you purchased the vinaigrette from them.
I advise including vegetables not found at Chipotle for more vegetables. Excellent options are cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, feta cheese, and broccoli.
Meal 2 Chipotle stew
In essence, the elements for chili make up your typical Chipotle dish. Here is a quick recipe for a hearty stew.
Ingredients:
Leftover Removed cheese, lettuce, and sour cream from a dish from Chipotle. (Reincorporate as toppers.)
2 drained cans of dark or light red kidney beans
diced one onion
grated garlic from 2 cloves
tomatoes chopped from two cans
Chili powder, 3 tablespoons
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
1 cup water
appropriate salt
Directions:
When the onion is transparent, add the garlic and onion and sauté them in 2 tbsp of neutral oil. Bring to a boil after adding the remaining ingredients. Ideally, cooking takes one hour. Add Chipotle’s discarded ingredients as a topping.
