What Is the Buss It Challenge on Tik Tok?
The Buss It Challenge is a popular TikTok video.
Participants in the challenge are required to film two videos in one: one in plain clothing (typically sweatpants) or without makeup, and another in costume.
In ordinary attire, the participant begins by swaying to a sample of Nelly’s “Hot In Herre.”
The video changes to a separate version featuring them in full glam and twerking to US rapstress Erica Banks’ 2020 hit “Buss It” when the song states, “I believe my buttin’ gettin’ huge.”

What Song Is Used in The Tik Tok Buss It Challenge?
In 2020, Eric Banks released ‘Buss It,’ her first charting hit.
The song, however, gained popularity in early 2021 as it was used in the famous TikTok trend.
The fad is so widespread that it’s trending on Twitter and Instagram.
Erica Banks’ challenge song was recorded in December 2019 and will be published in June 2020.
The song entered the R&B Hip-Hop Airplay chart at No. 38 in August 2020.
Her views and streams skyrocketed when the Buss It Challenge became viral in the first few days of January 2021.

When Did the Buss It Challenge Tik Tok Trend Start?
Erika Davila began the challenge on January 1, 2021.
Davila is shown dancing without a transition to “Buss It” in her video.
