The 29-year-old singer, who has a son with Joe Budden, returned to LHHNY after a four-year absence. After she accused Budden of infidelity, their turbulent relationship came to an end.
Cyn and Booby Gibson meet for the first time on Love & Hip Hop
It was on the first episode of Love & Hip Hop Family Reunion that things started to click between Cyn and Booby.
“Boobie is the first person I’ve ever met. Cyn said to the LHH camera, “We’ve interacted on social media and stuff, but we’ve never really met.”
Beautiful, beautiful man, that’s all I can say.
“Under any other circumstance, I wouldn’t get this much time with you,” Booby tells Cyn when he’s asked what he thinks of the family reunion, which he admits will “bring drama.”
On the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood set, Booby gave an interview and stated his intention to return to the show.
Booby rejects Cyn’s friendzone offer
During a private moment away from the rest of the cast, Cyn Santana and Booby Gibson discuss their friendship, and the mother of a young child brings it up.
“You can’t friendzone me, because I’m not one of them,” says Daniel Gibson, before adding, “If you’re going to friendzone me, this ain’t going to work.” He doesn’t mince words in making his intentions clear.
Gibson is able to woo the LHHNY star after she responds. Her parting words were, “The ball is in your court.
