    Millions of Americans have already received their first Social Security payments in January and are eagerly awaiting the next round in February.

    Due Dates for Social Security Payments of $10,092

    Here are the payment deadlines for February that you should be aware of. Payments from SSI are sent on the next business day if the first of the month falls on a weekend or a public holiday. As a result, the recipients of these checks can expect to receive their funds on February 1, 2022.

    SSI benefits are available to adults and children with disabilities or blindness whose income and resources fall below certain limits. According to the Social Security Administration, the maximum monthly benefit for SSI in 2022 is $841 per month or $10,092 per year.

    Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a government program that provides monthly payments to people over 65, blind or disabled or living in the District of Columbia or the Northern Mariana Islands who qualify.
