Btooom is a Japanese television series created and executive produced by Junya Inoue. Ryta Sakamoto, an unemployed and isolated young man, is one of the world’s best players of the eponymous video game.
Ryota is sucked into a real-life version of the game, where he meets Himiko, the virtual love interest of his dreams. With the help of their fellow members, Ryta and Himiko should be able to return home.
After it was only available in Japan, Crunchyroll made it possible to watch this show with English subtitles. The series’ producers have given permission to an American multimedia journalist to use English subtitles.
Despite the show’s high ratings, fans like me and you are eagerly awaiting the second season of Btooom. Is this something that’s going to happen in the near future? Let me tell you what I’ve learned about this matter.
Btooom Season 2 Release Date
To make this public now is the best time to do so. Btoom’s second season has been shelved for now. Whoever says that Btooom Season 2 will premiere in 2021 or 2022 should be contacted first. Btooom season 1 premiered in the final months of 2012, and the painful truth is that it generated the most revenue.
As a result, what can you expect from the show’s creators moving forward? Because of this, Madhouse Studio has not issued any official statements in eight years.

The following actors will reprise their roles if Btooom is given a second season:

Btooom Season 2 Trailer
As of this writing, there is no new trailer for Season 2. When it’s ready, we’ll let you know.
Btooom Season 2 Plot
Btoom’s protagonist is Ryta Sakamoto, a jobless 22-year-old. The fact that Ryta spends most of his time playing the online clash royale game Btooom! with his mother doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a secret life.
When he wakes up on a tropical island, his peaceful existence is shattered. What he saw on the book’s cover is a blur in his mind.
His hand actually has an implanted electronic device. Uses an olive-green glass for the game “Conflict Royale.”
The moment Ryta realizes that Btooom video games have been used to depict real-world events, she erupts with rage. Then he gets back up and starts looking around the island.
During his research, he comes across a visitor and asks for his help. In an effort to help, the stranger throws a grenade at Ryta.
His most important dream has been confirmed by this action. Because of this, he decides to join a group of others and take on the challenge head-on.
When Ryan isn’t in pain, he starts shooting the other competitors to gain strength. Throughout the course of the series, Ryota and Himiko form new romantic pairings.
In Battle Royale, Ryta’s in-game companion is Himiko. As the game progresses, they are both doing their best to maintain a state of utter terror.
No matter how compelling the main plot of Btooom may be, there are always interesting subplots to explore.
