Berserk (or Beruseruku in Japanese) is an anime television series based on the same-named manga series. On April 25, 1989, Kentarou Miura’s manga series, which he wrote and illustrated, was published for the first time.
The manga’s Conviction story arc was adapted into an anime television series in 1997. Over a decade after the manga’s original release, the manga’s Gold Age story arc was made into an anime film trilogy in 2012 and 2013.
Ougon Jidai-hen I – Haou no Tamaga was released on February 4, 2012, followed by Ougon Jidai-hen II – Doldrey Kouryaku on June 23, 2012, and Ougon Jidai-hen III – Kourin on February 1, 2013.
Berserk’s first season premiered on July 1, 2016, several years after it was announced that a new anime series would depict events following the Gold Age story arc.
A second season of the show, which premiered on April 7, 2017, was resurrected, despite criticism of its animation style.
Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the upcoming third season. Here’s everything we know so far about Season 3.
